Maxi Singles
(pricing table - click here)

The Stratomaster Maxi Singles are a range of 3 .5" instruments designed to do much, much more than your traditional 3" analog instruments. These digital instruments incorporate analog style graphical elements (such as bar graphs), but add intelligence from the microprocessor age (12V power required). Scroll down to view all the Maxi Singles available and to see just how much computing power some of these instruments offer. (Octagonal hole required in panel). Backlit and sunlight readable. THIS INSTRUMENT CAN FIT A STD ROUND 3.125" CUTOUT. Click here for sizing popup.

Important Note: We recommend all digital instrument customers purchase a 33V high speed Transorb (see below). This should be used with a 1 Amp slow blow fuse (1 for all Smart Singles in the panel).

Note: Many of these instruments also available as 2 1/4" Smart Singles.

Horizon/Compass Attitude / Heading Indicators

The TC-3 is a 12 Channel EGT/CHT display unit. Features include an easy to understand bargraph readout of all channels. EGT and CHT channels are configurable from 4 to 12 channels. Scanning mode or highest CHT/EGT digital readout available. Peak temperature per channel is indicated by solid lines above bargraphs, An external alarm output is available that could be used to switch a visual alarm indicator such as a lamp. Probe types can be configured for standard thermocouples, J or K types.

This is the last EGT/CHT monitoring system you will ever need.

E1 EMS Universal Engine Management System

The E1 universal engine monitor combines in one compact 3.5" format instrument all that is needed to monitor most smaller aircraft engines from 2-stroke ultralight engines to medium-sized 4-strokes such as those from Rotax, Continental and Lycoming. Also most automotive engine conversions can benefit from the use of the E1 engine monitor.

Monitors RPM, engine hours, 4 total EGT/CHT thermocouple channels, oil or water temp, oil pressure. Many configurations. Alarm with fully programmable alarm limits.

FF-3 Fuel Computer

This unit contains fuel flow and fuel level functions. Fuel level can be obtained from a standard fuel level sender and can be calibrated similar to our other Stratomaster instruments. Alternatively fuel level can be calculated from fuel flow. Includes alarm output for low fuel level. Fuel endurance readout included. This unit includes a "total fuel used" accumulator that can be reset to zero at any time. Fuel level is displayed in bargraph form with digital readout of remaining fuel. Units can be set to liters, U .S. Gallons, Imperial Gallons, or pounds. Fuel flow is displayed in digital form as quantity per hour.

RV-3 Rev Counter

Universal rev counter, programmable pulses/rev for a wide variety of engines. Accepts A/C coupled signals. Digital readout with analog bargraph (selectable scale). Includes hobbs meter, maintenance counter and a resettable engine running timer.

TP-2 Temperature / Pressure

Our universal solution for measuring water (coolant) temperature, oil temperature, oil or fuel pressure. Can be used to monitor any one of these or one temperature and one pressure at the same time. For example: Use one instrument to monitor both oil temperature and oil pressure.

Uses standard automotive senders and can use our special MGL senders as well

GF-2  G-Force Indicator

Two axis G-force meter with memory and cycle counter. Measures vertical force at up to10G at high accuracy.

Features include:
- Recording of max and min G forces in permanent memory
- Two independent cycle counters which record the number of times a preset force has been reached
- Graphical display of force acting on the aircraft

MAP-2 Manifold Pressure Indicator

The MAP-2 is a precision pressure gauge which can measure pressure in the range from 0.25 bars (3.6 PSI) to 2.5 bars (36.2 PSI). Pressure can be displayed in units of millibar, bar, PSI, Kg/cm2, inches of Mercury , millimeters of Mercury, kilopascal (KPa) or atmospheres. The MAP-2 is primarily intended for use as a manifold pressure gauge, however, due to the universal nature of this accurate instrument it can be used for many other applications as well.

Typical applications: Engine manifold pressure, Turbo boost pressure, Barometer, fuel or oil pressure gauge (with additional isolation kit), pressure reference, airfoil research and testing.

33V High speed / High power transorb.
This device is recommended to be used to protect any electronic devices connected to an aircraft's power supply. The device works by clamping the voltage to a maximum of 33V. It can do this in a matter of a few billionths of a second and it can, for a short time, withstand a very large amount of power. We recommend that a single device is fitted to incoming power for the aircraft's instrument panel, following a fuse or circuit breaker. This device can protect any instrument including intercoms and radios. We include a sheet giving recommended placement of this device.

Please note: All Stratomaster instruments now have transorbs built into their circuitry. These can still be used to protect other avionics.

10,000uF Electrolytic Capacitor
This 10,000uF electrolytic capacitor is an inexpensive and useful addition to your aircraft's power supply. It can significantly reduce noise signals on your power supply that may be affecting your VHF radio, such as ignition noise or rectifier/regulator noise artifacts.

Note: The capacitor must be installed as close as possible to the noise source, in parallel (across the + and - of the power supply going to the noise source), with very short leads for maximum effect.
