For those who will be assembling there own Challenger kit, there are many helpful resources on the web. Probably the foremost website to help builders is www.challengers101.com. It has a wealth of info on building as well as many modifications that have been done over the years by various dealers and owners. Another huge asset to the Challenger community is the FlyChallenger Yahoo group. It is a very lively discussion forum for Challenger owners and prospective owners and is frequented by thousands of Challenger owners and many very experienced dealers as well as Dave Goulet, the owner and president of Quad City Ultralights. Both of these websites will be very valuable to any first time builder and owner of Challengers.
Professional
assembly of any new part 103 legal ultralight Challenger kit purchased here is
available on a limited basis. Builder's assistance is also available for models that do not meet part 103. Assembly and builder's assistance is is provided by a
professional full time A&P mechanic. Pricing can
vary significantly according to options and
accessories, paint job, etc... Each assembly will
have to be quoted on an individual basis. Once you
have figured out exactly which Challenger that you
want, and what options, accessories and paint job
you want, and what type of assistance you need, I can get a quote put together for you.
Before the kit arrives, I would recommend setting up
a meeting with us and go over the details.
Nearly anything is possible in equipment, options
and accessories, but we will not make any
modifications to the airframe that are not tested for obvious safety and
liability reasons.
