The
Stratomaster Smart Singles are a range of 2 1/4" instruments
designed to do much, much more than your traditional 2 1/4"
analog instruments. These digital instruments incorporate
analog style graphical elements (such as bar graphs), but
add intelligence from the microprocessor age (12V power
required). Scroll down to view all the Smart Singles
available and to see just how much computing power some of
these instruments offer. (Octagonal hole required in panel).
Backlit and sunlight readable.
Important Note: We recommend all digital instrument
customers purchase a 33V high speed Transorb (see below).
This should be used with a 0.5 Amp slow blow fuse (1 for all
Smart Singles in the panel).
Note: Larger (3.5") Maxi Singles now also available.
|
|
33V High speed / High power transorb.
This
device is recommended to be used to protect any electronic
devices connected to an aircraft's power supply. The device
works by clamping the voltage to a maximum of 33V. It can do
this in a matter of a few billionths of a second and it can,
for a short time, withstand a very large amount of power. We
recommend that a single device is fitted to incoming power
for the aircraft's instrument panel, following a fuse or
circuit breaker. This device can protect any instrument
including intercoms and radios. We include a sheet giving
recommended placement of this device.
Please note: All Stratomaster instruments now have
transorbs built into their circuitry. These can still be
used to protect other avionics.

MAG-2 Digital Compass
 Matching
the needs of all digital compass applications we are proud
to present the first of three models of electronic, digital
compasses. These compasses are designed to exactly match
your budget and operating needs. All compasses are based on
magneto-resistive sensors from Honeywell and offer
outstanding performance. Feature rich, these compasses
provide course steering indicators, can display magnetic or
true heading and provide easy to use deviation compensation.
All compasses come with a separate sensor package. This
makes it possible to install the sensors in the best
possible location in your aircraft and place the display
where you want it. The MAG-2 is a three-axis
magnetometer based compass. Excellent, professional level
performance at an affordable price. This version includes
accelerometer based tilt compensation. Relaxed installation
requirements, no error due to bank or pitch alignment. This
compass will still display errors during a turn due to the
accelerometer not being able to vector gravity correctly,
but it may be the best solution for your requirements
|
|
 |
Completely solid-state, these units do not rely on
traditional mechanical gyro systems. This means no
limitation during usage, full 360 degrees operability in
both pitch and bank. These units represent the future in
aircraft horizon systems at a price that is making
everything else obsolete. Just like that!

of the current flight since take-off.
|
|

|
ASX-1 Airspeed and Altimeter Combo
The unique ASX-1 combines our excellent altimeter with the
wide range airspeed indicator of the ASI-1. This instrument
is the ideal solution for limited space panels at an even
more amazing price. Consider the ASX-1 together with perhaps
a EMS-503 or EMS-582 for an unbeatable combination of
utility, price, weight and size.

TC-1
Thermocouple Temperature Display
This is a configurable EGT/CHT four channel display. It can
be used as single channel, dual channel, three
channel or
four channel display unit. Each input can be used to display
a CHT or EGT channel. Probe types can be configured for
standard thermocouples, J or K types. Display for each
channel includes a bargraph (scale programmable) and a
digital readout. Each channel can have a temperature alarm
programmed. The unit includes an uncommitted relay contact
output that can be used to switch an alarm light or buzzer
as required. Unit does not include probes. Select these as
required for the application from our range or use your own
probes.

EMS-503
Rotax 503 Engine Monitoring System
This unit is a full house, single instrument engine
monitoring system preconfigured for the Rotax 503 DCDI
engine (and now also similar air-cooled engines - see
manual!). It includes the following items: Digital rev
counter, 2 x EGT bargraphs with digital readout and alarms,
2 x CHT bargraphs with digital readout and alarms, hobbs
meter and flight timer. This unit includes 2 x EGT (Rotax
8x1mm thread) and 2 x 14mm CHT probes. Units are
configurable degrees F or degrees C.

|

|
EMS-582
Rotax 582 Engine Monitoring System
This unit is a full house, single instrument engine
monitoring system preconfigured for the Rotax 582 DCDI
engine (and now also similar water-cooled engines - see
manual!) . It includes the following items: Digital rev
counter, 2 x EGT bargraphs with digital readout and alarms,
1 x coolant temp bargraph with digital readout, (optional 2
x CHT bargraphs with digital readout and alarms), hobbs
meter and flight timer. This unit includes 2 x EGT (Rotax

FF-1
Fuel Computer
This
unit contains fuel flow and fuel level functions. Fuel level
can be obtained from a standard fuel level sender and can be
calibrated similar to our other Stratomaster instruments.
Alternatively fuel level can be calculated from fuel flow.
Includes alarm output for low fuel level. Fuel endurance
readout included. This unit includes a "total fuel used"
accumulator that can be reset to zero at any time. Fuel
level is displayed in bargraph form with digital readout of
remaining fuel. Units can be set to "liters, U.S. Gallons,
Imperial Gallons , or pounds. Fuel flow is displayed in
digital form as quantity per hour.
|
|

|
FF-2 Advanced Fuel Computer
Building
on the successful concept of the FF -1, the FF-2 provides
for a multitude of different operating requirements with 13
distinct modes. The FF-2 can interface with two fuel flow
senders and two fuel tank level senders at the same time.
Supported modes include single or dual fuel flows,
differential fuel flow, single or dual tanks either using
calculated levels or measured levels using multi point
calibrated level senders. Fuel usage accumulators are also
provides plus all the functions of the FF-1.
|
|

|
RV-2 Rev Counter
The RPM / power factor display for turbine engines and
similar applications. Can be used for N1, N2 using standard
tach generators or almost any other electrical signal or
pickup senders.
|
|

|
TP-1 Temperature / Pressure
Our
universal solution for measuring water (coolant)
temperature, oil temperature, oil or fuel pressure. Can be
used to monitor any one of these or one temperature and one
pressure at the same time. For example: Use one instrument
to monitor both oil temperature and oil pressure.
|
|

|
MAP-1 Manifold Pressure Indicator
The MAP-1 is a precision pressure gauge that can measure
pressures in the range from 0.25 bars (3.6 PSI) to 2.5 bars
(36 .2 PSI). Pressure can be displayed in units of millibar,
bar, PSI, Kg/cm2, inches of Mercury, millimeters of Mercury,
kilopascal (KPa) or atmospheres.
The MAP-1 is primarily intended for use as a manifold
pressure gauge, however, due to the universal nature of this
accurate instrument it can be used for many other
applications as well, including:
Engine manifold pressure, Turbo boost pressure, Barometer,
fuel or oil pressure gauge (with additional isolation kit),
pressure reference, airfoil research and testing

10,000uF Electrolytic Capacitor:
This
10,000uF electrolytic capacitor is an inexpensive and useful
addition to your aircraft's power supply. It can
significantly reduce noise signals on your power supply that
may be affecting your VHF radio, such as ignition noise or
rectifier/regulator noise artifacts.
Note: The capacitor must be installed as close as
possible to the noise source, in parallel (across the + and
- of the power supply going to the noise source), with very
short leads for maximum effect.
